Gifted Independent Study Program
Frederick County Public Schools' Gifted Independent Study program offers students the opportunity to gain valuable experience by working with a mentor in a profession of their choice. In this program, Gifted Resource Teacher Robin Owens discusses the GIS program. In addition, Millbrook High School senior Sara Mead and Dr. Robbie Kidd from Shenandoah University's Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy discuss their experiences as participants in the program.
