In January 2011, Sherando High School senior Alec Snider became just the second high school student to ever discover a pulsar through the Pulsar Search Collaboratory.  In this program, Snider and Sherando Earth Science teacher Debra Edwards discuss the discovery and how students are becoming engaged in science and astronomy.
